News · Baseball splits Double Header to open 2021 Campaign

Joe Percy was an RBI machine on Saturday, driving in four on two hits to lead Southeast Pirates Varsity past Ravenna 18-8 on Saturday. Percy drove in runs on a walk in the first, a double in the third, and a single in the fourth.

Pirates grabbed an early lead. Pirates scored on a walk by Percy and a single by Thomas Sharish in the first inning.

Pirates put up seven runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Southeast Pirates Varsity was led by Nate Muncy, Percy, Jordan Mckendrick, and Austin Ranker, all driving in runs in the frame.

Ranker got the win for the Pirates. Ranker went five innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and striking out nine.

Pirates Varsity tallied eight hits. Muncy, Percy, and Sharish each managed multiple hits for the Pirates. Sharish, Percy, and Muncy all had two hits to lead Southeast Pirates

Baseball will be back in action at Home Tuesday vs Streetsboro for a 5pm start time.

Ravenna collected nine hits. Miller and Gibson all managed multiple hits for Ravenna.
