The Boys Varsity soccer team tied Rootstown 2-2 in Rootstown on Thursday. Sophomore Ryan Gellatly opened the scoring for the Pirates. Rootstown striker Ivan Martinez would tie the game at 1-1 with five minutes left in the half. With 10 minutes left in the game, Junior Zach Bohn sent in a long throw-in which Senior Jack Romocean headed home for the go ahead goal. However, with seven minutes left, Josh Collins of Rootstown added his own header and tied the game at 2-2, which would be the final result. The tie bring the Pirates to 4-7-1 with four games left in their season. Southeast will host Jackson-Milton on Saturday.
