Lady Pirates earn first victory of the season

The girls basketball team beat District Champion Berlin Western Reserve 73-53 last evening.  The victory was a total team effort, with 8 girls in the scoring column.  Freshman Natalie Zuchowski led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while senior Becca Muldowney provided a huge spark adding 8 points and 3 assists. Southeast wins Foundation game at the Q

The Lady Pirates beat the South Range Raiders 62-47 at Quicken Loans Arena.  Leading the way were Danielle Norquest 21 points, Natalie Zuchowski 12 points and Riley Norquest with 11.

Winter Awards Ceremony March 18th

The ceremony to recognize members of our Cheerleading, Bowling, Basketball and Wrestling teams will be held on Tuesday, March 18th. The event will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the high school auditeria.

It was a total team effort with the lady Pirates defeating Waterloo 82-25 Wednesday evening.  Brittany Butcher tied her school record by dropping 8 3’s, meanwhile teammate Rachel Stull had 9 pts and Madison Dunn grabbed 10 rebounds. Lady Pirates Stay Perfect

The girls basketball team raised it’s record to 7-0 with a thrilling 62-53 overtime victory over the visiting Rootstown Rovers. Madison Dunn led all scorers with 17 points while Jillian Fresemyer had 13. Emma Rankin chipped in with 9 4th quarter points. The girls play at Newton Falls this Saturday.
